Many local providers deduct part of their service to benefit our clients:
The Children's Remedial Fund has maintained a unique relationship with the Owatonna Public Schools since its inception. All personnel costs, including that of the director, are incorporated into the job description held by a district staff member. All agents of the program directly serving students and their families are school social workers employed by various schools in Steele County. Postage and copy costs are also provided in kind by the school district . This relationship impacts the CRF by reducing typical overhead administrative costs.
As a result, only 3% of the total expenses per year are spent on administrative expenses. 97% of the donations received go directly to help with health costs for children in our community.
